We organize a single, consolidated site visit to streamline your quoting process.

2. Relationship with Contractors

Important: The Construction Syndicate is an intermediary service. We do not perform the construction or repair work ourselves.

The contractors in our network are independent professionals and are not employees or agents of The Construction Syndicate. While we rigorously vet our network, any contracts, quotes, or agreements for physical labor, materials, or timelines are strictly between you (the client) and the individual contractor.

3. User Responsibilities

By using our service to request a quote or site visit, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete contact and property information.
• Ensure that you, or an authorized representative, are present at the property during the scheduled site visit.
• Communicate promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule a site visit.
• Provide a safe environment for our contractors when they visit your premises.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, The Construction Syndicate, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• The performance, non-performance, or quality of work provided by any independent contractor sourced through our platform.
• Any property damage or personal injury occurring during a site visit or construction project.
• Disputes regarding quotes, payments, or project timelines between you and the contractor.

Your sole remedy regarding dissatisfaction with a contractor's work is to address the issue directly with the contractor according to your agreement with them.

5. Quotes and Client Portal

Quotes provided through our platform or client portal are generated directly by the independent contractors. The Construction Syndicate does not guarantee the accuracy of these quotes or price-match competitors. Quotes are subject to change based on the contractor's final assessment and material availability.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to the text, graphics, logos (including the navy and gold Construction Syndicate logo), images, and software, is the property of The Construction Syndicate and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
